History

Student Center West began as the “Student Activities Building” built in 1964 and was dedicated in 1965 as the J.C. Camp Student Center with the first two floors used as a parking deck.

Student Center East began when the “Student Center” was built in 1998 with 118,000 sq. ft. The enrollment at Georgia State at that time was 15,008 undergraduates and 7,708 graduate, professional and other students.
