Discount Tickets for Students, Faculty & Staff

Whether students, faculty and staff are on campus this summer or are looking for something to do in between semesters, Georgia State University and the Student Center have the perfect answer for everyone. Students, faculty and staff are eligible to purchase discount tickets to a wide range of Atlanta attractions, sporting events, amusement parks, and movie theaters all at a cheaper rate than usual. While most of these discount tickets can be purchased from the Information Center on the first floor of Student Center East, tickets are also able to be purchased online.
There are a number of attractions that may interest the university community in and around the Downtown Atlanta area. For example, if students, faculty or staff are interested in going to Zoo Atlanta or the Georgia Aquarium, they can enjoy discounted prices by purchasing tickets from the Information Desk for $17.99 and $29.95 respectively. Moreover, SkyView Atlanta offers stunning views of the city of and these tickets can be purchased for $10. Meanwhile Regal Entertainment, by far the most popular tickets sold at the Information Desk, offers $9 movie tickets at any Regal Cinemas theater. If students, faculty or staff are looking for something more adventurous however, Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water offer tickets online at heavily discounted prices. Other places include Medieval Times, Renaissance Festival and Stone Mountain Park.
These discounts are not limited to Atlanta area attractions. If students, faculty or staff are looking to travel, they can purchase discount tickets for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida created especially for the Georgia State University community. Tickets for the famous Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina can also be purchased from the Information Center for $47 as opposed to the onsite price of $75.

The Georgia State University community has been taking advantage of these deals at the Student Center Information Desk for a long time. In the last academic year, 11,655 tickets were sold generating more than $152,300 in revenue with the most popular tickets sold being for Regal Cinemas and Georgia Aquarium. Along with purchasing tickets, students, faculty and staff have also purchased 19,264 items from the Information Desk including chips, candy and sundries, generating more than $13,800 in revenue.
Tickets for the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta United, Medieval Times, Renaissance Festival, Stone Mountain Park, Six Flags over Georgia, Six Flags White Water and Walt Disney World are only available online whereas Biltmore Estate, Georgia Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta, Regal Entertainment and SkyView Atlanta tickets can be purchased from the Information Desk in Student Center East.
