Lounges & Seating Areas

Lounges and other seating areas in the Student Center offer a variety of comfortable spaces to study, relax, meet friends or just hang out. Free services such as Wi-Fi, computer stations and Panther Power charging stations keep you connected, and drinks and snacks are available at the center’s food courts, the Information Center and vending machines.

Atrium Lounge
Student Center, First Floor
In front of State Ballroom
This spacious seating area has an open feel and is accented by two-story glass windows that provide natural lighting. Close to the Information Center, it has easy access to a computer station, Panther Power charging stations, a Bank of America ATM and vending machines.
Gallery Lounge
346 Student Center
In addition to providing a quiet, enclosed space for studying or resting, the Gallery Lounge hosts exhibits of artwork by students, faculty and staff and can be reserved for receptions. Main Lounge
Student Center, Second Floor
Near bridge to University Center
Enclosed to provide quiet for studying or informal group meetings, the Main Lounge features tables and counters at a convenient height for writing and typing. It is also close to vending machines and a Panther Power charging station near the bridge to the University Center.
Panther Place Lounge
University Center, Third Floor
Adjacent to Panthers Club
Connected to the Panthers Club food court, Panther Place Lounge is a great place to eat, socialize and watch TV. It also features vending machines and Panther Power charging stations.

Throughout the Center
Seating areas are provided throughout the Student Center and University Center in nooks, hallways, open areas, food courts and the Student Center lobby.
Outdoor Seating Areas
Between Student Center & Urban Life Center & in Unity Plaza
Benches in front of the Student Center on Unity Plaza and wooden swings in the green space between the Student Center and Urban Life Center offer seating for relaxing outdoors.
